Casting Boxes

Casting boxes are structures used to form metal? into various shaped goods, such as pots and gears. All casting boxes run on charcoal and require beeswax? in addition to metal for each item made.

• A [Student's Casting Box]? requires 24 boards?, 200 firebricks?, 400 bricks?, and 1,200 sand? to build. It then takes 100 charcoal? to fire, eats 80 initially and 1/minute each minute thereafter.

• A [Master's Casting Box]? requires 24 boards, 200 firebricks, 400 bricks, 50 rope? and 12,000 sand to build. It then takes 600 charcoal? to fire, eats 250 initially and 2/minute each minute thereafter. Some products can only be made on a Master's Casting Box.

Casting a product requires the appropriate amount of metal? and of beeswax? for the mould. The casting box must remain lit until the project has cooled or it will be ruined.

All the cooling times are Teppyminutes, not real minutes.

note 2: To get the option to create a Silver Bowl, you must have completed [Initiation into Worship]? and signed up for [The Test of the Vigil]? at a University of Worship.
